Why Does Your Windshield Picks Up So Much Dirt?
Your car’s windshield can become dirty for a variety of reasons, including fingerprints, dog dander, smog and smoke, road debris, sea salt, and other local environmental pollutants.
Off-gassing, however, is one of the main causes of the excessive dirt pickup. During the manufacturing process, chemicals can become trapped inside a car and leak out.
The various vinyl and plastic interior parts that eventually degrade and become trapped inside the car are what give off that new car smell that people talk about. The windshield, which is typically perfectly angled to catch a lot of it, tends to leave an oily residue after exposure to these chemicals.
Especially in hot, humid weather, using oily cleaners on the dashboard can make this problem worse by evaporating into a film that further coats the car glass.

How to Clean the Inside of Your Windshield?
Clean Outside
Everything starts on the outside if you need to remove interior windshield haze or streaks. Why? Because if the outside is spotless, it will be much simpler to determine how clean the interior window is. Therefore, thoroughly hand-wash your outside windshield before moving on to the interior.
Wipe Inside With a Clean, Dry Microfiber Cloth
After that is finished, wipe the interior windshield with a soft microfiber towel (or a clean shop towel), working in circular motions from the corners to the center. (The “backhand method” is particularly effective for cleaning the lower portion of a windshield.)
Keep in mind that the towel is dirty if it touches the dashboard. Rubbing it on your windshield will only make streaks more noticeable because it has already absorbed oil. Get a new towel!
Clean With Alcohol Or a Magic Eraser
The window must then be decreased. You can do this on the cheap by applying isopropyl rubbing alcohol to a clean microfiber towel, or you can choose to buy something like a Mr. Because it’s magical, we suggest using a clean Magic Eraser.
Circular motions should be used to clean the glass after dipping the Magic Eraser into warm water and wringing it out. The eraser should always be damp, and after cleaning, you should quickly dry the surface using a microfiber cloth while making circular motions.
Cleaning and drying one-quarter of the windshield at a time is referred to as working in quarters. By doing this, the chance of the Magic Eraser’s chemical cleaning solution sticking to the glass is diminished.
Finish With Glass Cleaner
On a different spot-free microfiber towel, apply your glass cleaner. Make sure to get the spot where the dashboard and glass meet the windshield by wiping it in a circular motion.
Rub the windshield up and down while holding the towel on its dry side.
All interior windows can be cleaned using this technique for the windshield, but you should avoid applying alcohol or any other chemical to tinted windows. See also these additional window cleaning hints for vehicles.
